It all begins with an idea. Then the fun part of turning those ideas into reality.

  • I’m always inspired by knit structure and fiber. There are so many options for both that the combinations are endless. It all starts with the fiber…

  • Once I have the yarn, I decide what techniques I want to use, primarily on my knitting machines. Then I start creating swatches, experimenting with the yarn, gauge and stitch types.

  • Once the swatches have been finalized, I design a pattern for the garment or accessory. Using a combination of my traditional apparel pattern making skills combined with knit knowledge and gauge math, I create the schematic and make the final item.
